Life is crazy around the Thorne home. It was so fun to have Kam here for the weekend. She is the best. We also had fun with the Fontenot’s at the barbeque on the 4th. Mike is off to Georgia. He is living in quite the spread on the golf course. The boys have been rockin out on their drums and Aspen still and always has a song in her heart (she is constantly singing).

Tann Man had a fun b-day and left us to go to his friend Rylies cabin for the week-end. Zack surprised tann on his b-day too. He went swimming with all his buddies on his b-day. He is one boy who is loved by his buddies My Tann Man is 14 years old. Can we have a moment of silence................BOO HOO my kids are growing up.

My thought for the week will be one Aspen told me. Stockton keeps schooling me on horse (basketball game). As Stockton and I were playing and I was H-O, Aspen looked at me with all seriousness and said “You can do it Mommy, just believe, dreams can come true”. Well after her encouraging words I did make my next shot. Too bad I missed the next three and lost, but if we could all just listen to the words of a 4 year old…….You can do it, believe and dreams can come true ( they may fall apart shortly after, but live in the moment- hehe)

The Southwire lake
Look at my favorite guy tilting his head. He was the bully the bit the feathers off the other ones and did not want to share food. He was also the bravest that would walk right up to you.

Those trees in the back are the lined road into the Southwire Plant.

Another hot DRY summer day. I learned what humid heat was in 'ol Georgia. It is a beautiful green green place ( did I say green?) I loved seeing the green green grass and shrubs and the tree lined roads ( I told Mike the trees were going to eat me). Southwire is Ginormous in Carrollton. I really had no idea.

We had a blast. My parents watched the kiddy bops in Utah, and they too had a blast ( the kids- My parents are probably still recuperating from Aspen and her 24-7 non-stop energy oasis.)
I was only back one day and decided I might go in the Hall of Fame for great moms. While Mike has been gone apparently we have been eating like crap. Tanner asked me if I would just buy some healthy food. I told him yes, and he handed me a list he had already made up. Yeah, you know your the top prize when your 14 year old tells you to eat healthier. Then Aspen was with Teri Josie and when I went to pick her up she had a fudge pop in one hand and a sucker in the other ( Teri spoils her). She had asked Teri to be her new Mom. She told me yesterday her new name was Aspen Josie.
